Riley Nolan

Associate

Riley focuses his practice in the areas of child protection and family law, including divorce actions, legal separations, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, spousal agreements, child custody and support disputes, resolving the division of family property, grandparent and third-party access applications, and guardianship applications. Prior to becoming an Associate at Tapper Cuddy LLP, Riley articled with Legal Aid Manitoba, where he gained valuable experience in those areas. Riley received his law degree from Robson Hall in 2018, getting his call to the bar in 2019. Experienced in family law and child protection litigation, Riley has appeared at all levels of court within Manitoba.

Riley is trained in Collaborative Law and is a member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba, and sees the importance of providing families with the opportunity for a process to resolve the transition brought about by the end of a marriage (or common-law relationship) without resorting to adversarial litigation and court.

Riley is a member of the Manitoba and Canadian Bar Associations and has been on the Executive of the Manitoba Bar Association Child and Youth Law Section since 2020.
