Garry graduated with a law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2020 and was called to the Manitoba Bar in June 2021. While in law school he was awarded the inaugural Teranet Manitoba Anderson Award for law students in 2019 and was an executive on the Manitoba Indigenous Law Student Association. He practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, commercial litigation, and Indigenous law. He has assisted clients on a variety of issues including corporate governance, commercial transactions, and disputes. Garry is a member of the Manitoba and Canadian Bar Associations. He is also on the Board of Governors of St. Stephen’s University.
Before law, Garry worked and studied overseas for almost 20 years. He worked in the fields of education and technology while obtaining his MA. Before returning to Canada, he was the manager of an electronic company’s technology planning team in their home appliance division. When not in the office, Garry spends his time with his wife and three children.
