Daniel’s focus areas of practice include corporate and commercial, tax law, mergers and acquisitions, estates and trusts, and Indigenous law. He has extensive experience in theses areas as well as in banking, real estate, and legal matters concerning owner-managed businesses. Daniel has lectured at and attended numerous seminars in the areas of tax, securities, Indigenous law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. On a continual basis Daniel participates in numerous tax and securities courses sponsored by the Law Society of Manitoba, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Federation, and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, including completion of the In-depth Tax Course.
Daniel is actively involved in numerous professional organizations including the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Manitoba Bar Association’s Tax, Real Estate, and Small Business Law subsections. He is also the current Chair of the YM-YWCA of Winnipeg. Daniel is a former Managing Partner of Tapper Cuddy LLP.
